Agreement
By downloading or using Palabrita ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App. These terms apply to the iOS application and the associated web service at palabrita.yangwon.net.
Use of the App
Palabrita is a personal, non-commercial Spanish vocabulary learning tool. You may use it for your own educational purposes. You agree not to:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the App
- Automate requests to the app's backend API in a way that disrupts service for others
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data
Accounts
Account creation is optional. If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your credentials secure. Your account is personal and non-transferable. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
To delete your account and all associated data, email lee@yangwon.net.
Content
All vocabulary content, example sentences, and learning materials in Palabrita are owned by Yangwon Lee or used with appropriate rights. You may not reproduce or redistribute this content outside of normal App use.
Service Availability
We aim to keep Palabrita available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. The App works offline after the initial download; cloud sync features require an internet connection. We may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice.
Disclaimer of Warranties
Palabrita is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free or that the vocabulary content is exhaustive or always accurate. Language learning outcomes depend on individual effort and practice.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Yangwon Lee shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data and is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
